Gov. Howard Dean Answers Your Healthcare Reform Questions

Two weeks ago, we asked you to submit questions for Gov. Howard Dean on healthcare reform.
More than 90 readers who responded with questions for the governor. Thank you!
We selected half a dozen of your questions and passed them along to Joe Conason of Salon.com, who put them to the governor at a live event at New York’s 92nd Street Y last Thursday night. At the event, titled “Howard Dean’s Progressive Prognosis,” Conason and Dean discussed healthcare reform and the future of the progressive movement, and you helped guide the conversation!
We’ll post video of the event as soon as possible. Meanwhile, take a look at these these videos, where the governor answers the questions selected for the event. (We taped at these at the PBC offices the next day.)
As promised, if your question was used during the discussion, PBC will send you a signed copy of Governor Dean’s new book, Howard Dean’s Prescription for Real Health Care Reform.

True Healthcare Reform MUST INCLUDE A PUBLIC OPTION.
ANYTHING LESS, SUCH AS THE BS STATES OPT OUT OR IN IS DEFINITELY NOT “DEMOCRATIC” AND A REAL LOSER.
BACK OFF. DON’T F IT ALL UP AT THIS POINT.
