All we ask is that you agree to buy just 4 more books at regular club prices (including shipping and processing charges and sales tax in NY & PA) within the next 2 years. You may cancel at any time after you fulfill your purchase commitment by notifying us via our website or by calling Progressive Book Club customer service.

Support a Progressive Organization With Your Book Purchases at PBC

Unlike other booksellers, PBC puts your purchases to work to support the environment, independent media, human rights, literacy and many other progressive causes. When you join PBC, you can select a beneficiary organization to support with via the books you buy as a PBC member. We will donate $2 from the purchase of each regular club-priced book ($10 or more) to that organization. You can also choose not to elect a beneficiary organization when you join PBC.

Once a month, the PBC editorial staff, in conjunction with PBC's Editorial Board of leading progressive thinkers, activists, and authors, will choose a PBC PICK and several new alternate book selections.
You'll receive an email notification of the PBC PICK at the beginning of each month. If you want to receive only the PBC PICK, do nothing and it will be sent to you automatically, or you can order the PBC PICK right away to receive it more quickly. If you do not want to receive the PBC PICK, simply reply by the specified date via our website; youll always have at least 3 weeks to decide. We will send you an email reminder regarding the PBC PICK before the specified reply-by date
